Let's Rock Exeter - September 11th 2021

Spent 11 or so very happy hours reliving my youth (now that was a looooooooooooooooooooong time ago) at Let's Rock Exeter, a positive orgy of 80's-tastic acts including the divine Kim Wilde, Spandau Ballet crooner Mr Tony Hadley and ABC's Martin Fry. Some of the early acts only played a track or two (step forward Fiction Factory, Wang Chung, The Lotus Eater's Peter Coyle and one of the stars of the day Angie Brown) but as the day progressed everyone else pretty much played all of their big hits. At under £40 (if you manage to grab an early bird ticket) it's an absolute bargain, leaving you just enough cash to buy a pint of £6.50 cider. Thankfully there were more loos for the men this year, even if they were located 20 miles away from the stage but the exercise is good for us middle aged folk isn't it eh?
