Wooden Horse saddle up...



One of the unexpected highlights of this year’s Moseley Folk Festival, Wooden Horse, roll into The Kitchen Garden Café (Kings Heath) for an intimate gig on Sunday 18th November. The Worcester based duo, Jamie Knight and Ben Church, play a fine mix of authentic sounding self penned Blues and Americana with Knight’s hurricane force vocals and Church’s intricate finger pickin’ whipping up a storm one minute then melting hearts the next on some of their more reflective country tinged stuff. Fresh from support slots for the legendary Joan Armatrading and Sandi Thom and building on the buzz surrounding their recently released debut album What Comes Around this gig promises to see the Horse on top form...and that’s the hoof, the whole hoof and nothing but the hoof.
